April Pictures

Since I am posting April pictures in the middle of July I thought I would just go through the April picture folder and pic some cute pictures so that I have them.

Gracie loves her Papa Matthews. She usually falls asleep like this at night. He usually does to but we haven't been able to get a picture of both of them asleep at the same time.

Cameron got a boobo. The sad thing is I can't remember how he did this. Just know that he wasn't happy about it.

Blaine found this at JC Penny and sent a picture to his brother since they had just had a baby boy. He said he wished this was out when our boys where babies.

Cameron loves his baby sister so much. I just found him on the ground talking to her.

Every once in a while you can tell that these brothers love each other.

Ryan's tooth has been loose for months but wouldn't let anyone pull it out. We finally got it out and you can see how much of the new tooth was out.

A couple of days later his other front tooth came out.

We went to Bass Pro or as the boys call it the Fish store. Ryan said that Papa Bird needed a quad like this at his house.

I love it when I find him in his bed asleep in the middle of the afternoon.

Have to throw this one in found this hat at the photographers house and had to get a picture of it. I sent it to Blaine and of course he didn't like it but I love it.

Softball

Blaine was actually able to play softball with the elders for the first time in years. Cameron and I have been going to the games cheering them on. I keep telling Ryan that one of these days we will let him stay up late and go watch daddy play softball.

My Boys Go Camping

My boys decided at the last minuet that they where going to go camping with Papa. Blaine had just graduated the week before from school and he thought that this would be good for him and the boys to go do since he hasn't seen much of them in the last year. I knew he was right but I hate it when they go camping without me. The only good thing I can say is that no one caught anything and I am going to say it was cuz I wasn't there.

Cameron's favorite thing to do when we go fishing is throw rocks in the water. Keeps him entertained for hours.

While teh boys where camping I went to the Elders Quarm party with Gracie. I wasn't sure about going at first but I had to get out of the house and it was at Truschkes and his husbands band was going to perform so I decided to go. It was great and I had a lot of fun visiting with people in the ward. It was the best turn out I think this ward has ever had for an Elders Quarm party and everyone seemed to be having fun and the kids where all able to run around and play togeather. I was really bummed that my family had left for the weekend. In our ward we have had quite a few babies born over the last few months. Most of them have been boys Grace started the the run of girls for a while. Katie had a great idea to take a picture of all the 12th ward boy babies. Well the next thing I knew it was a picture of Gracie with all of her men.

EVMO

Gma got us tickets for the East Vally Mormon Choir's "from Classical to Broadway" show. I was excited to go except for the fact that my boys decided to go camping that weekend. I wouldn't of been able to go anyway cuz we had planned on going to this concert for months and had tickets already bought and then Saturday I had to teach a hair bow class so my boys went without me. Linda came home early so I didn't have to take Grace with me to the performance and was able to enjoy it without having to worry about a baby. Unlike the people sitting next to us that climbed over us 5 different times with there 2 year old. I mean seriously that was crazy don't bring your kid to something like this they are not going to like it and it just makes it so the rest of us can't enjoy it. Other than the annoying kids next to us the concert was amazing as usual. Can't wait to go back for Christmas.

1st Grade Field Trip to The Zoo

I will be honest and say that I am not a fan of the zoo. 1st I think all zoos should have alligators and ours doesn't I really hate the huge hill and for the most part it is just hot and it is hard to see the animals. So until this year I haven't been to the zoo since I was pregnant with Ryan. Although I had the opportunity to go with Ryan's class. He wanted me to go on the bus with him but his class ended up having about 15 parents volunteer. I told him that Cameron and I would meet him at the zoo and just walk around with him. He liked that idea so that is what we did. Although when I got there they had some parents fall though so I got paired up with another mom and we had a group of boys. Since it was April it was getting pretty hot outside.

We had 5 boys in our group six if you count Cameron.

If you know Ryan you know how big this is. He went and got a brush and decided to go and brush the "animal". He wasn't scared at all he thought that it was great.

Cameron is my animal kid but he wasn't sure about the animals.

The other mom that was in my group was a life saver. Our group was pretty pooped and we still had like 45 minuets before we had to be back at the bus. She said that they have a special zoo membership and she thought she could get our entire group on the train ride. I was shocked that it worked but very grateful. I was so tired and it was getting so hot. I am in love with this train from now on. If we go to the zoo we can do the train ride and then just do a few things.

Our group was the 1st ones back at the bus. The other mom that was with me didn't ride the bus so I told her that I would stay here with our group on the bus and she could go. The bus driver asked Cameron if he wanted to come on. He was so excited he went and found Ryan who was sitting in the very back and I told him he could only stay till the other kids got there then we had to go back to our car. He was okay with that.

We barley made it to the freeway and he was passed out with my water dang kid.

Blaine Graduates

Blaine graduated from UTI on Friday the 13th. My parents drove down from CO Thursday and got here on Friday morning. Blaine had to be out at the school at 6 am for his final and if he passed he got his cap and gown. Thank goodness he passed his test he ended up coming home since he was done by 8am and graduation wasn't till 12:30.

 We piled Gma and Nana & Papa Bird into our car and drove out. We got there a little early so Blaine gave us a tour of the school and the boys and I know my dad for sure thought it was pretty cool. You have to know my dad to know that he use to work on cars and all the good stuff to. The graduation was pretty short and sweet. They had a photography company taking pictures that you could order. They handed out price sheets as you walked in the door and the funny thing is I use to work for the lady doing it. When I was in high school I worked at Star Studio and the lady's name was Candy it took doing a double take but the lady handing stuff out at the door was the same lady. I knew she had sold her studio in Mesa but that was the last I heard so once again it is a small world. After the graduation we all headed to lunch at Texas Roadhouse on that side of town.

Then our car went to Cabellas since we where over there. The boys hadn't been in a while so they thought it was great. Ryan was super happy cuz he talked daddy into getting some fudge I bet you could tell that took a lot of convincing.

While Nana and Papa where hear we took them to all of our favorite Ice Cream places. Friday night we took them even though they wanted to go to bed to SubZero and after we got there and they had some ice cream they where glad we did.

Then Saturday was just a play around day. Then that night we took them to our other favorite place ZoYo.
