We got home from Disneyland on Tuesday and then Friday after school we went camping. Yep I know a little crazy. I was a little nervous because there was a fire that we had to drive through to get to Payson. We go camping up on the Indian Reservation up above ShowLow. This was Gracies first long car ride and 1st Cmping trip. The boys had gone the month before but it was colder and so I decided not to take Grace.
Gary Danny and Cris left around lunch time but Ryan had already missed a day of school that week so we where all packed and ready to leave as soon as he got home. He was so excited and ready to go. Driving to Payson wasn't bad we could see the smoke from the fire but that was about all. It was really cool cuz right above us was a helicopter that was dropping water on the fire that Ryan saw so he thought that was awesome.
Since we go up to Showlow at dinner time they decided to go to Denny's for dinner. We normally go for Mexican food but for some reason they didn't want Mexican. Lets just say that won't happen again. Not impressed with Denny's for dinner.
Cameron was happy to be out of the car and he likes bossing Cris around. Cameron also fell asleep on the way up. Its a good thing that his sister was asleep as well.
The next morning the boys where ready to go fishing. Everyone slept really good that night in the trailer so we where all in a happy mood at the moment.
Gracie had a ton of fun playing with her little mat with toys on them. She looks so dang cute in her little overalls.
We headed over to Bog Tank one of our favorite places to fish. We had just walked over the dam over to the shady part of the lake and Ryan casted and no one else even had line in the water and he said I got one. We didn't believe him at first but has he kept reeling it in he had one. It was a little one but he had one. Blaine had to stop getting his pole ready and go and help him. He was super excited that he got a fish and even more excited he beat everyone else.
I didn't by a permit because I wasn't going to fish since I figured I would be taking care of Grace. She fell asleep so I fished for a little bit. It was nice it didn't take me long to catch a fish so I was happy I wasn't skunked. I think I caught two total but that worked for me. The fish where totally biting that day. I think in all Gary caught 30+ fish just at this lake with blue & silver. There was a guy fishing off the dam and saw how much Gary was bringing in and how we kept cheering when he did as we walked by us to go talk to Gary he said I need to go see what Papa is doing over there to catch all those fish. He was bait fishing and when we told him what we where using he re-thought his plan.
Cameron likes to do what Ryan did when he was little. He loves throwing rocks in the water. Makes it fun when you are trying to fish. He does have a fishing pole with a fake fish attached to the end of it that he plays in the water with every once in a while. Love that little plumber butt.
I love this all three of my boys fishing. Blaine did finally get one after helping Ryan with his 6 or 7.
Cameron was happy collecting his rocks. He got some pretty big ones and almost fallowed on into the water.
This kid gets so dirty. Its a good thing the trailer has a shower.
We went back to camp to chill out for a while and Grace thought it was great to be outside and see green stuff. I love this little girl so much she is so dang fun.
Cameron felt like he couldn't get left out when we where taking pictures of Grace so here he is.
After lunch the fishing isn't great so normally that is "nap" time. We usually watch a movie and some people fall asleep so it all works out. Gracie was pretty out for a while so that was nice. She wasn't awake by the time the boys wanted to go fishing again so she and I stayed behind.

Building a fire the boys are just like mom and dad with fire. Ryan took the picture of the fire and we all thought it was pretty cool it looks like a Phoenix.
Gracie finally fell asleep cuz daddy helped keep her warm and she liked looking at the fire.
Cameron is pretty pooped after the weekend of camping.
