Cameron Turns 3

Poor Cameron we didn't do any type of party for him this year. I thought I would always make sure to give my kids a party but this year got a little crazy so I am glad that he doesn't really care yet. That doesn't mean I didn't feel bad cuz I really did. I was going crazy trying to get last minet stuff done for Field Fest and that was taking up a lot of my time. I wasn't feeling that great Blaine had started back to school and was in his last couple of weeks so everyones stress level was pretty high.
I promise I will make it up to him next year for sure. I figure I would do a little trip back in time so everyone can see how much Cameron has grown.

Cameron was my huge baby that ended up in the NICU for a few hours cuz he was having breathing problems and then he was so big he couldn't keep his temperature up.

Cameron's 3rd birthday. He picked out what cake he wanted and told Gma Matthews. He was pretty happy even though he doesn't even eat cake.

Happy birthday my little squishey man. You are so funny and I am so glad that you are mine. You have such a soft and caring side to you and you love everyone. Happy Birthday and next year we will do it right I promise.

Grace is 1 month Old

Gracie is a month old and yes she is holding her own binki in. I think we have finally figured her out. She has silent reflux and it has been causing her some grief. We have gone through 3 formulas and finally found one that she is okay with. I am not a big fan because it is a soy one but hopefully in a another few months we can try and go back to a normal one. At her visit today she was up to 9 pounds 6oz and 2 3/4" long. She is in the 50th % that is new for us since the boys have been off the charts since they where born. I will say it is nice to have an "average" size baby. The doctor was impressed at how she fallows voices and the fact that she is already ticklish. She got one shot and wasn't very happy about it. The boys you could make happy after they got shots she was a lot harder to make feel better. I haven't ever heard her cry like that. She hardly ever cries anyway. All in all the first month has gone pretty good. I have had some problems with depression but that is getting better, Grace is sleeping pretty good so I can't complain.

Sub Zero

One night we decided to go and get some ice cream. We had never been there before and i had never heard of it so we figured lets try. Now when you go get ice cream you don't expect to see this.

Yep that says Nitrogen. They make your ice cream with it.

You pick out what kind of ice cream you want them to make as well as the mix ins and then they make it.

They thought all the "smoke" was so cool.

I would defiantly recommend Sub Zero Ice Cream it was so so yummy. It is a little spendy say about the same as Coldstone but well worth it for a treat. They are on Stapley and Baseline by Old Navy.

Ryan loves his little sister. He doesn't ask to hold her a lot but every once in a while he will. He is such a good helper and is getting better about holding her for me.

Stick em up! This is how I usually find Grace sleeping. Funny thing is this is how she slept when she was inside as well. one time when the Doctor checked me about two weeks before she was born he said that he could feel her head but also her hand this would be why.

Valentines Day

Valentines day this year was kind of a bust. I had just had a baby the week before however I was happy that I wasn't in labor that day since it was Gracies due date. Blaine didn't have school since he had taken 6 weeks off for the baby so it was nice to have him home after work. I didn't have time or energy or idea of what to get Blaine. I saw on Facebook of friends who decorated super cute and made cute stuff for the kids. Yep that didn't happen either. I looked on Pinterest and have lots of cute ideas for stuff that I could do and next year when we are in our own place hopefully I can start some cute little traditions like I see that other people have. Our bishop and his wife try to bring dinner in after you have a baby and they try and to it the night you come home from the hospital. Well I was only in the hospital for 24 hours. Lynda called on Thursday to see if they could bring dinner on Friday. Well my parents ended up coming on Friday so we put it off till the fallowing Tuesday. That ended up being Valentines day so for our romantic dinner the bishop and his wife brought our family Pandas. Ya I know you are jealous it was yummy and next year will be better because I wouldn't of just had a baby and I won't have to have dinner with my inlaws. Although I will say that we never go out on actual Valentines day we normally go the day after or on the 16th since that is my birthday.

My hubby did surprise me however with Sprinkles Cupcakes. I have always wanted to try them and have heard they are super yummy. Blaine drove out to Scottsdale and got me 4 cupcakes. Of course they had a line and they would only let 10 people in the store at a time so the heat of people wouldn't mess up the cup cakes. He got me a Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate and Red Velvet. It was worth the trip.

Thanks babe sorry that I didn't get you anything I promise that I will do better next year.

8 Years And Counting

Eight years ago today I woke up around 4:30 after not going to sleep till like 3ish. It was pouring rain most of the night. My friend was coming to the hotel that I stayed at to come do my hair. (We had people staying at my house so I was going to have to sleep on the floor. My dad used some of his Hilton reward points and put me up on the executive floor no less. It was super nice) I looked outside and saw that it was still raining and was really trying no to freak out since our reception was suppose to be outside and we didn't have a plan B. My sister came to do my make up we did take a break and went to the club room for breakfast. Blaine came to pick me up and we drove to the temple together since we had to be there an hour early. As we walked into the temple it was sprinkling and by the time we came out it was so nice no rain the sky was amazing and clear.  Between our two families it was standing room only in the largest sealing room. Afterwards we went to an amazing luncheon that Joe Picco did for us. Joe found out that Blaine was getting married and told us he was doing our lunch and we didn't argue cuz that is a lost cause. It was some of the best food I have ever eaten.

It has been 8 years and we have been though a lot together. Some things I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy(like your wife almost dying and loosing a child) but we have made it through. I couldn't can't imagine life without you. You are an amazing husband and have been working so hard to make things better for our family. I don't know how you do it with working full time and going to school. You are such a great dad and your kids love you so much and want to be just like you.
