Limo Ride 2012

Ryan had his Limo ride. He had a fundraiser right after school started and in order to ride in the limo to Peter piper Pizza he had to sale 20 items. All I can say it's a good thing we have a big family. He got his 20 items in October but had to wait until January for his prize. Since I am on the PTO board this year I know stuff that is going on and I got to go as one of the chaperone's. I got to go last year but that was because I was lucky and they didn't have as many kids sale things. This year we had a ton of kids and had to do two different loads of kids. I got to go with Ryan's group and that I was really happy about. The big kids would have driven me crazy. Before all the fun stuff at Peter Piper happened we first had to get the kids in the Limo. Normally this would have been okay however about 10 minuets before we started to call kids out of classes an announcement came over the school intercom telling everyone to get inside and not come out of the building till further notice. I was in the Library we called the office to see if the school was going on lock down or not and she said no but they found a javelina on the playground. The funny thing is when this happened all the kids except for one classroom was outside. They called animal control and started fallowing/chasing it around the school grounds. I wouldn't of believed it if I didn't see it for myself. It was a good size and as soon as we heard it was off school grounds but running towards Lindsay we got all the kids out since our limo was sitting there waiting for us and to top it all off the kids got out of school early all that week so we where on a time limit not only for the limo but school getting out as well. Then we heard on the radio that it was running back towards us at the school so we got all the kids in the limo and took off. I later found out that Joe Pico helped catch it in front of his house until Animal Control got there. before we left we saw a couple animal control trucks as well as a couple of Mesa Pd around the area.

After we got to Peter Piper the kids where super excited. We got what kind of pizza they wanted and then sent them of to play. It was nice to see that Ryan was having a blast and I didn't have to help him this year as much as last year with playing the games. After we got our food they got to play for a little longer then trying to get them to use all the tickets for the prize counter always takes a while but we got out at a pretty good time. Since we just had to lad the kids at the school any one who wanted to get pictures had to do it at Peter Piper.
These are the kids from Ryan's class that got to go. I think he has a crush on Amaya. She was in his class last year and he has never put his arm around anyone before. The other little girl is McKenzie.
