Mothers Day & Disneyland

We decided to make a last minuet trip to Disneyland. Blaine has been working with school and work so hard and the boys really haven't seen him much so we wanted to do something fun with them. As soon as we said we where going to Disneyland Danny decided he wanted to tag along. I said the only way that it would work for me is if he got his own room and he said fine so he went with us. We left Mothers day and drove to California. We walked around downtown Disney Sunday night got our tickets so we could bypass the main gate Monday morning. Our hotel was behind the Disneyland parking garage at the Holiday Inn and since they do fireworks on the weekend we got to see them from our hotel. It was really nice because Cameron hates fireworks so when we heard them start going off he was already asleep. We left him in our room and walked to the end of the hall and saw the fireworks and everyone was happy, we didn't have to fight crowds.
During the day at downtown Disney the boys including Danny made animals at build a bear. Ryan made an Alvin (Ryan Alvin), Cameron made a Kermit the frog, Danny made a dog, and they made a super cute pink bear for Gracie. Gracie didn't come on the trip with us. She stayed with Gma Bird that way we could go on the rides with he boys and she would have been super hot and miserable.

Cameron was excited now that he had figured it out. He really like typing on the computer all by himself.
We rode the montrail into the park Monday morning. The boys thought this was the best train ride ever.
Cameron wasn't sure at first cuz on the one side of the train we could tell we where pretty high up and he doesn't really like heights.

The 1st ride we went on was the Nemo submarine ride. Cameron really didn't like how dark it was and Ryan got board with the ride pretty quick.

Our next ride was Cameron's ultimate favorite. Autotopia Cameron rode with Blaine the 1st time and was super excited cuz he was able to drive. Ryan drove our car with only one problem. It wasn't our fault but our car as Ryan said pooped out. We sat on the track with cars lining up behind us for about 10 minuets. Finally we got a hold of someone on the other track to let them know that we where stuck.
We finally got rescued and they asked if we wanted to drive again without waiting in line. That was a dumb question so Ryan and I went again and didn't get stuck the 2nd time.
Cameron is such a good driver
This is the way to get around Disneyland
His face says it all. Cameron was tall enough to go pretty much on every ride. We all wanted to go on Space Mountain so we told Cameron it was going to be fun. As you can tell by his face as we are sitting in the rocket ship he is not so sure about that. I wasn't happy with Space Mountain this ride. Ryan thought it was cool that we where in the front but they had the music up really loud and I swear my ear drum burst. Ryan said he didn't want to go on that one again cuz it was to loud.
After we traumatized Cameron we went on Splash Mountain. He did better with this one. It has helped that he has been on the one at Knotts a year ago.
You can see Danny in the background holding his hat on. Ryan loved this ride and loved being in the front.
As close to a family picture that we could get. The boys where getting tired by this point so we rode the train around the park and then went back to the hotel for a while so that everyone could take a nap.
We went to downtown Disney for lunch. We found and Italian restaurant and decided to split a pizza. This is what a $45.00 pizza looks like. Gotta love Disneyland. The good thing was it was really good and between our family and Danny we ate it all.

This is the Buz light year ride and granted my boys don't know who Buz light year is but I thought they would have fun shooting things. Ryan did pretty good but Cameron didn't like it. So Blaine took Cameron's gun and started shooting for him. I'll let you come up with your own caption to that picture.

My boys are in jail and they tried to pick up the weights.

Cameron tried and then he wanted to ride in the stroller. You didn't think that froggies would have missed out on Disneyland.

The big boys went on Star Tours and Cameron and I stayed outside and waited for them. They had gotten a fast pass so they didn't have to wait in line. Cameron and I got a $12.00 R2D2 popcorn and a $3.50 bottle water and chilled.
Cameron wanted to do Autotopia one more time before we left the park but this time he wanted me to drive with him. Finally a ride that he was having fun on.
On our way back to the hotel we got to ride the "train" We asked if we could sit in the front with the driver. They said that only 4 people could go in the front so Danny sat in the back so that we could ride in the front. They loved it I think they would have just done that "ride" a ton more time.

The boys where super tired on the way home.
