So Much To Do

I have so much blogging to get caught up on. I just looked and saw that my last post with pictures was in October. So much has happened since then but I think for right now I need to blog about what I am going through at this moment. Tuesday was the 2 week mark for my surgery. When people told me that the recovery for this surgery was rough I thought that it was because of the pain. I was wrong way wrong. My incisions have healed and the glue has all come off but I am still sooooooo tired after doing just a couple of things. It has been so hard to admit that I need help and that I can't take care of my own kids especially Gracie. Having a 17 month old and trying to recover from this type of surgery is a JOKE! My Grandma has been a life saver to say the least. She has come over almost everyday to try and help me and to make sure that I am not doing to much. This past week Blaine's family has really stepped up and helped out. More about that later, I have to remember that I did have major surgery. During the surgery they took almost everything except my right ovary. So not only did they take out half my insides but then they had to do some reconstructive surgery to finish everything off. Everything on the outside may be healed but my insides are still trying to recover. When you can actually see it that is a hard thing to remember sometimes. Everything that I wanted to do fun with my kids this summer has come to a halt. They have been living on cereal, tv, and you tube. Oh well I guess that's all that I can do for now. Ok I'm done whining on to some fun cute pictures.
Like I said Gracie has spent the last few days has been at her girl cousin's house. She has had all the attention and has had tea parties and I even got this text yesterday of Gracie getting her first pig tails.

Gracie does have hair but it seems to be coming in from the back to the front, so she has this mullet thing going on. Now it is starting to curl so it doesn't look so bad but haven't done this yet. I told the girls they are going to have to teach me how to do little girl hair.

This is pretty funny, the night before Blaine but Gracies bracelets on her feet. She thought this was pretty funny so when she was getting ready this morning I put them on her wrists and she took them off and put them on her legs. They didn't stay all day cuz in the picture above they are on her wrists and when she came home she had them on her wrists.
This morning I told her that she was going to the girls house again today she wanted to get dressed and started bringing everything that she took out of the diaper bag the night before. When Grandma came to pick her up she wanted kisses from her brothers, I had to beg for mine and then she was out of here. Gma even had to tell her to slow down cuz she was running to the car.
Later today my Gma came and got the boys and took them to McDonalds play place so they could have a change of pace. Then they went to the Library Ryan hasn't ever been to the public library Cameron has once. Ya I know I'm not a good mom but I am trying to do better with the reading thing. So while they have been gone I have worked on laundry and trying to get the kitchen cleaned up. The boys will be home soon and then they will go to gymnastics. I am trying to learn my new limits but I don't figure them out till I have done to much.

At Ryans gymnastics show. He did so great and I was so proud of him cuz he had everyone looking at him. Cameron got a little board and decided it was time to make funny faces.

              Blaine was thrilled that both kids wanted him to hold them. Gracie is such a cool baby


Field Fest is a crazy crazy feat to take on. These are the pot luck jars for all the students of the school.
 

Gracie thinks that she wants to go to school just like her brother. Nana got Gracie a great Easter dress. I love the little girls in poufy dresses.

 Best news ever WE MOVED into our own place. It is in 34th ward and we will move to that ward eventually but we will see. We are so excited just to be in our own place. Cameron Zander and Gracie had so much fun helping me move little things over at a time and running around the house like crazy people.

Papa Bird from Colorado came to help us move and we couldn't do it without him.

Gracie loves her Papa Bird and had a lot of fun playing with him. I love the look on her face that she is giving Papa like really.

Daddy turned 35 and we had Gma Bird over for dinner. Our house was still not really put together since we have only been in for a few days.

Happy Birthday to the BEST daddy and husband ever. He works so hard for us and we are so glad that he is ours.

Gracie loved her daddy's chocolate cake. She defiantly has gotten her daddy's sweet tooth.

Now for the not so fun news. Daddy ended up spending a week in the hospital. He was really not thrilled about that at all. I didn't trust him to go see Dr. Thomas and tell him what was really going on. His leg was really red and hot and was traveling up his leg. We got to Dr. Thomas he gave him a shot in the butt and then said do you want us to call an ambulance or will you promise to go directly to the hospital. He called a head and told them we where coming. I have never seen him so depressed and so defeated. It took every ounce of strength I had to try and keep him positive and also juggle who has my kids so that I could be at the hospital.

It is so fun to watch my kids especially my daughter play with the toys I loved when I was little.

Gracie found comfort with her papa when everything with daddy was crazy. So it was nice that she had some normalcy while all of that was happening.

                        This little girl is the best eater that I have ever had. She loves everything.

 

I love these little toes so much. This little girl loves to have her nails painted. This I can blame this on her cousins. While Blaine was in the hospital she spend a few days at her Aunt Ellen's house with the girls and they taught her all things girly.

Ryan is doing really good with Vision Therapy. His teachers have noticed a difference so that is nice. Some of the stuff they have you do is kind of silly but its helping so we deal with it. I love how my babies still fall asleep.

 Field Fest was absoulty crazy but my kids had fun and I guess that is all that matters. Ryan did the rock wall and got all the way up I was so proud of him.

Cameron made it a little farther up than this picture shows and he was super nervous so I was proud that he didn't chicken out.

                  Ryan did so good at his gymnastics show. He was so excited that he got a trophy.

Cameron Turns 4

 

 We had his party at our house at Gma Matthews. He was so excited for his gifts anything Mario he was good.

He was so excited to get his castle. He has wanted it for a year.

She LOVES food and will try anything. She also LOVES to torment her older brother Cameron.

                    Gracie LOVES her Papa. She loves to play with him when he is on the floor.

                     Gracie and her cousin Caleb are about a month apart. They are some cute bald babies.

    Cameron fell asleep while eating his lolli pop. Gracie ended up in the ER because of a breathing issue. Luckily we weren't their for very long and they just sent us home with breathing treatments.

Sick baby chillin watching tv while her brothers are gone. Its a good thing cuz when they come home and see what she has done to the car map she will be in big trouble.

  Fun at the park with big brothers. She wanted to go down the slide but didn't want to go by herself.

 Gracie went to a play date at Tatums house and of course she had to make sure she was totally decked out in her necklaces.  Ryan is doing really good at gymnastics and his teachers think he is great.

                                                        He has some really strong muscles.
